  1. hi Craig,
thanks for this great free app. Well is there any chance I can get it working with https - possibly using a root-CA? I would lik to check our hudson server running around 50 projects... thank you.

  2. Simon,

It looks to me like you can use https out of the box, IF you have one of the certs in your change that are provided as part of the iphone 3.0 distribution: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3580 If you are using a self signed cert, then I would have to either use a private API (will get rejected by Apple), or find a 3rd part lib to disable cert validation. Still investigating... In the mean time can use use the VPN to get into the inside of you lab?

  3. Here is some more information. You can install alternate certs into the iPhone by downloading the PEM, using Safari, that contains the root cert. If you do this, the iPhone will take you to a profile page where you can install the new root. This should allow you to make use of a self signed cert or a cert derived from a root not provided by Apple.

I will see if I can do this myself. I have verified that you can download and install a new root. now I have to get the same root that my apache server is using, put it in a PEM and try it out...
